Alice

This waking up early thing is going to be a rather regular thing unfortunately. Got picked up by Ben, picked up Aimee and Alysha but not Shannon 'coz he didn't have to be at uni until the afternoon. We were a bit late by the time we got to town so Ben dropped me at the bottom of the road and I walked up to uni and got there about 10 minutes beforing my ENGR101 lecture.
Today the lecturer talked about the history of engineering and what engineers do.
After that I had nothing for 4 hours so I ended up typing up my notes for my MATH151 lecture the previous day, hanging out with Max, Russell and Polly, and wandering around aimlessly.
Oh, and learning how to get more than one Lift Plus can for the price of one out of the vending machines. But apparently you only do that if you have no moral something-or-others...
Anyway, at around 2 I met Andrew and we went to COMP102, where we learnt about Alice, a very basic introduction to Object Orientated Programming.
After that I started walking down the road, met Rachel and eventually saw Ben at a red light so we ran across the road and jumped in the car.
I finished my first assignment this evening, it involved playing around with Alice and making a few edits to a Java program. For my Alice programs I modified the orginial 'Penguin Meets Tortoise' and made a game where you are an Astronaut and you have to find the hidden pyramid. Alice is annoyingly simple, there's so much you can't do.
