The Big First Day

After sleeping as long as I want for about three months, waking up at 6 was not fun at all. But it was necessary in order to get a ride into town with Ben. We picked up Aimee, Alysha and Shannon as well.
Ben dropped me and Shannon at uni at about 8.10am and then took himself and the girls down to town for their school. Me and Shannon just wandered around, found where our lectures were going to be and generally wasted time.
At about 10 to 9 I went in to the lecture theatre where my first lecture was being held at 9. It wasn't as big as the other lecture theatre I'd seen but it did hold about 100, maybe 150 people. Which was about how many turned up for ENGR101.
This lecture was just an introduction with the lecturer going through what we were going to be doing during the year etc. and after 50 minutes of him talking, we got to leave.
Met up with Shannon and his mate after that and went to sort out some fees enquiries he had, then we met Kaz and just hung out for a bit until 11, when I had my next lecture.
This lecture theatre was a lot bigger than the previous one, easily fitting a few hundered people, and it had pretty much filled up by the time the lecture started, for this lecture, MATH151, we didn't really have an introduction, we just got straight into some Algebra, with the lecturer talking about rows and columns and stuff.
By the time that had finished Shannon and Kaz had walked down to town with Rachel and Anne so I talked with Glen a bit, found out where "his" couch is, and then walked down to join them.
By the time I'd walked all the way down there they had caought the cable car back up, so I ended up walking all the way back up, meeting them on the way up.
Hung out with Rachel and Anne at the cafe before my last lecture at 2.
I finally had someone I knew in one of my lectures, Andrew, who's actually in his fourth year but is doing COMP102 for one of his other papers.
This lecture was pretty much the same as my first one but the lecturer showed us some of the programs that we would be writing, and some of them looked pretty cool.
When that finished me and Andrew walked down to the railway station, but the driver for my train was late, therefore I missed the bus at the other end and was a little bit late for work.
Work was alright, more of the same really. Met James afterwards and we walked home.
